I recently purchased a 1981 2cv6, and I am trying to determine the model. What are the differences between the (Dolly, Special, Club, Charleston)? There are no exterior markings on the vehicle I purchased.
Can someone help me? Will the VIN # help to identify it? Thank You
A Dolly has particular panels painted a different colour with a little curve of colour on the rear doors, see: 2CV Dolly
whereas the Charleston 2CVs have the curved pattern on the side in a different colour to the main colour, see: 2CV Charleston

The VIN and access to vehicle registrations would tell you what it was originally.
