Are there any experts on 2CV kingpins. I've just bought a set and the play in the pin and bushes is audible. I know that an experienced M.O.T garage will know that 2CV's do have a certain amount of play mainly due to the size of the wheel but when I set up to find out much play (out of situ) between the M.O.T failure pin and the new I was horrified to find there was more play in the new one. I have had this problem before but I rectified it with heat and hammer as I had no time before the M.O.T to investigate it and frankly I'm getting completly hacked off with it. I must make this clear that this has nothing to do with the suspension arm (tusk)which has its own idiosyncrasies, and I am in fact getting a set ready prior to the M.O.T Does anyone have any suggestions?
