Sound FX for Recording

Now I pretty much know the conservative element of this board will cringe in horror , so I guess they should move on to the next Post......BUT..I'm quietly working on some studio recording drafts....based on a blend of Cajun/Zydeco/Country/Rock...original material ...a little 'off the main street' material for want of a better terminology.

The thing is...I'm trying to find a source/web site that will allow me to download and transfer by sound file to my recording studio Mac, some FX..like gunshots, horses - whinny sounds and galloping, interstate haulage trucks, freight trains, etc.

As an example, you may remember that hit 80's song 'Wild Wild West'...with the opening ricochet gunshot sounds...

Anyone got a link or two that I could use?

Darryl.
