Requesting a video

Hey Jim or anyone else !! Can you post a vid of Oberlin (the Waltz not the one step) by Amédée Ardoin for me ? I been playin this song alot lately on the fiddle, but I really would like to hear some of my favorite accordion players bust this one out !!

Re: Requesting a video

I take this opportunity from this topic to have a similar request about 2 tunes I love and I have rarely seen in video. I'd love to see one or some of you playing "ONE STEP A MCGEE" and "TITS YEUX NOIRS".

Re: Requesting a video...Bravenet Song Project?

Maybe this can be a new song for the bravenet project? Or is that over?

Re: Requesting a video...Bravenet Song Project?

Nope, "Bravenet Song Project" is not over

Anytime is a good time for a Bravenet Song Project!

Just start posting and I'm sure that others will
follow suit!

Yeah, great news

Re: Requesting a video

Same tune as Tit Monde, isn't it?

Re: Requesting a video

not that it surprises me in the least bit, but yeah after listening to it, it is the same tune ! I always forget to check... Amédée, naturally, is a little more bluesy with the vocals.

Oberlin sounds like J'ai passé in the very beginning, then it changes into Oberlin, almost like he forgot what tune he was gonna play or something. Love listening to his stuff, I just cant get enough of it.

Re: Requesting a video

I noticed that too about the beginning. Amede was the epitome of improv. His turn is also different and I can't get a handle on it.
