In not too long ago times, Sheryl was used as both female and male names in French Louisiana. Carol is another one, there are others but can't think of them at the moment.

Names are strange things. I know that D.L. Menard is baptised Doris Leonard Menard. Doris is an absolute female name here in Norway.

To be honest I`m not a god. I`m a little below 6 feet tall and weighs about 140 lbs.
So Iàm not a threath to anybody.
But I love the one-row cajun accordion , the music and some of the cajuns (including JLM and r4u)

I love the Norse Gods, Tor. When I was a kid, I read everything I could get my hands on concerning Asgard, Odin, Thor, Loki, Tyr, Heimdall, Ragnarok, Fenrir wolf, Surtr, and all the rest.

Like one of my Norwegian shipmates (I worked on a Norwegian freighter once) used to say "Now dem vas da Gods, by God!"

I heard that Doris Leon for D.L. Menard is a myth. His mama wanted to name him Diel, which wasn't a real name people had heard of before but something made up, so the closest approximation was D.L.

Yeah, I once had a girlfriend named "Arvis". So named because her father was "Art" (Arthur) and mother was "Vi" (Violet) and she was "Art & Vi's kid".

Tor, I spoke to Sheryl just after Balfa Camp, and she was saying how she'd love to appear at Saulieu, so we can hope for that.
