We here in Acadiana are also way below normal in rain fall. All this flooding is not water from here but from rain up North. We are just catching the snow melt and water from other states. Seems like a no win situation.
Yeah, that's the irony. We've been having a small drought down here. So we get the negative effects of flooding without the positive benefits of the rain.
