Re: NYT: Academy Defends Cutting Grammy Categories
Our bass player is a member of the Academy and is working with Bobby Sanabria on behalf of all of us to right this wrong. We will win this fight and get back our Grammy that took so long for us to get as well as for the other categories that were dissed.
Terrance Simien worked for years to finally get recognition for our music so we all need to get involved. Think of all the musicians who do this full time. A Grammy nomination is huge and translates into income. More and better gigs, record deals, merchandise sales etc. Thanks for posting WF. We need to stay in the loop and make our feelings known.
