A new tune I wrote...

Alright, so I was getting excited in the 3rd quarter of the LSU game tonight and pieced together this lil song. I've only been playing a year so go easy. (the beer didnt help either). Let me know what you think!

thankfully, because of Lee, I can play outside and not sweat.

Re: A new tune I wrote...

Awesome man, you gotta record that

Re: A new tune I wrote...

That's cool as hell, Brode. Can you play it on accordion too?

Playing in the rain

That's great!
And the backdrop of the rain sound is really cool.
It's like singing in the shower, but you don't get wet!

Re: A new tune I wrote...

Man!! That was good! Ain't it just awsome to make your own music?

Re: A new tune I wrote...

wow, that song rocks! takin' it out to the woodshed, old school fiddle playing. awesome!

Re: A new tune I wrote...

Hey Brode,

I've been working on playing along on the accordion with that song. It works, but maybe can you record a longer version?

Re: A new tune I wrote...

Thank y'all for the comments!

John- I plan on doing it today. I'de like to hear your version!

Re: A new tune I wrote...

Great! You might consider uploading it on vimeo - http://www.vimeo.com

Vimeo will allow folks to download the raw video or audio file. Being such a rank newby, I need many repetitions to figure stuff out and Youtube is clunky that way.

Hopefully I can get it down today.

Re: A new tune I wrote...

Man, that was mighty fine! Ouachita, huh? Did you have some Arkansas inspiration? You ought to come up here to the Ouachitas and play it for us Arkies!

Re: A new tune I wrote...

I'm from Ouachita parish so I guess thats the inspiration! I like me some Arkansaw though. I know an old fiddler maker that goes to Mt. View regulary. Going to mamou and lafayette is quicker for me.
