Re: Joe Hall Instructional DVD

Jude, how is that DVD? IIs it recent or an older one? Can you give me an idea of what's on it? I have never heard of it.

Re: Joe Hall Instructional DVD

It's relatively recent (2010). There's not a lot of conversation or tips. Joe just takes you through the songs at regular speed and slowed down. He does Johnny Can't Dance, Dixieland, Valse de Criminelle, Kaplan Waltz, Thirty Dobb Special, and La Cucaracha.

The approach is a watch-and-repeat one. So, I guess you'd have to say it's an intermediate/advanced DVD.

The versions of the songs are like those on his CDs. So, if you like what he does on his CDs and you're partial to a more creole style of play, it's for you.
