Yes, I would download free QuickTime if I were you. It is needed for iTunes files and many other types of music files. I don't have a Mac so I don't know how.
I had downloaded some of these songs only a couple of days before your welcome and timely post. Your transcriptions add significant value to this wonderful collection.
thanks Christian! I love Moise. I have been tryin to get the guys to play some of his songs. I play them on fiddle and really love that style. Especially Les Jolie Filles de la Courtableu
If you record some of them one day, I will buy your CD without hesitation :). I would love to hear those songs with the fiddle added.
You probably know the other songs in this field recording, but I still mention it here in case other people are interested:
Hi Christian, I have visited the amazon link; the Mp3's sound like Moise alright, but the CD on sale linked to it mentions "Gerard Dole & Les Vaillants Francadiens; CD".
Is this a Gerard Dole CD? - Nout
This is a copy of a field recording of Moise Robin that was made by Gerard Dole. I haven't listened to it for a while, but I believe all of it is Moise Robin playing alone.
Yes, it's Moise Robin playing alone.
Nout, Gérard put out the CD in 1995 after visiting Moise at his house in Arnaudville. (The whole story is told in the booklet).
