Re: Moise Robin

If you record some of them one day, I will buy your CD without hesitation :). I would love to hear those songs with the fiddle added.
You probably know the other songs in this field recording, but I still mention it here in case other people are interested:

Courtableau..., Gare-soleil... 'Tit yoyo... I love them all, and also this beautiful waltz "Chers beaux yeux de la Lousiane".

Re: Moise Robin

Hi Christian, I have visited the amazon link; the Mp3's sound like Moise alright, but the CD on sale linked to it mentions "Gerard Dole & Les Vaillants Francadiens; CD".
Is this a Gerard Dole CD? - Nout

Re: Moise Robin

WOW! Great stuff Christian, thanks for posting about it.

Re: Moise Robin

This is a copy of a field recording of Moise Robin that was made by Gerard Dole. I haven't listened to it for a while, but I believe all of it is Moise Robin playing alone.

Re: Moise Robin

Yes, it's Moise Robin playing alone.
Nout, Gérard put out the CD in 1995 after visiting Moise at his house in Arnaudville. (The whole story is told in the booklet).
