Poullard Special

Way to go Jamey, now that you've killed my morning. Here's my best effort.

Re: Poullard Special

Dang, Bryan...one morning?! Only ONE friggin' morning!!??!! I may not even bother trying!

CharlieB..

(just kidding Very nice!)

Re: Poullard Special

Well done!

Re: Poullard Special

I cheated, it's so close to several songs I've been playing a lot recently, it was a small change. Those C songs are easier for me once I got the hang of them, but it wasn't that was early on.

Re: Poullard Special

very good Bryan,cool B part

Re: Poullard Special

Man,

If I don't pay real close attention, I lapse into playing some rendetion of the Port Arthur Stomp.
Great little 2-step. Got to get it down.

Re: Poullard Special

I like it -- it's got a Creole beat that I can dance to! You Braves shoulda seen Bryan whip out the Lake Charles Two-Step with my band at Moore's Store in Ben Wheeler a couple of weekends ago! Big ups, Bryan!

Re: Poullard Special

Thanks for having a "give a scab a chance" night. I enjoy it though I think it's torture for your band.

Re: Poullard Special

Okay, I'm gonna do two for the price of one: One I did back in July (yes, I'm cheating - I've been working on this song for a WHILE; not 20 minutes like *&^!@) Bryan!), and one I did this morning. I can't tell much difference, except that I look gayer and slighly scruffier.

But I figure I'm third best so far, by God . . .

First the new one:

Now the old one:

Re: Poullard Special

I see quite a bit of improvement, much better feel to it. Of course, you did change accordions.

Re: Poullard Special

Sounds better on the #9 (which ain't scruffy at all).

Re: Poullard Special

I like both versions (and maybe the old one even a bit more), especially for the rocking rhythm! Bravo!
(Bryan's rendition and mine are a bit more 2steppy)

Re: Poullard Special

Sounds like a great place to hang out. Especially like the ambience line DIVE-Y CASUAL LOL
