Re: Peer's Poullard

Nice!

Isn't this tune a lot like Nathan Abshire's Frog Leg Two Step (Flyright CD of Miller material)? I think that's the one. I am going to dig it out at home tonight and see. Will post it if it is. It's something like a mazurka when Nathan does it. And I believe THAT is from something the Breaux Brothers did in the 30s. Will check.

Re: Peer's Poullard

On my cd the titles are scrambled, but near as I can tell, to me the Frog leg sounds like a cross between a fast Quand Jetais Pauve and Wandering Aces Special. Cool song

Re: Peer's Poullard

I can hear Quand j'etais pauvre now that you mention it!

This is too good to be hidden down below.

You're right about that f'su'.....

Re: Peer's Poullard

C'm on, Bryan. You're too modest about your own Poullard. Played on a box of your own! I love it. Very different version though.

How do you post a clip like you did?

What's the procedure to post a clip?

Re: How do you post a clip like you did?

Hey Maz, are you asking how to embed a Youtube clip? The steps would be 1)make the clip 2)upload it to youtube 3)click on the "share" button below the youtube screen 4)click on the "embed" button below the "share" button 5)choose the "use old embed code" box 6)cut and paste the address given in the embed box to your Bravenet post

That's a lot of steps, but it's really quite easy once you upload your video to youtube. I'm not sure everyone has to use step 5 above, but Bryan and I both had to, so I'm assuming others, if not everyone, will also.

If you need any help, Maz, just holler; looking forward to your video!
