Hackberry Hop

Didn't have much time last night to clean this one up, but here is an attempt at Hackberry Hop or Don't Bury Me.

I learned this from an MP3 from 2008 of Paul Diagle playing this one for the intermediate/expert class at Augusta Cajun/Creole Week that I pulled off the internet a while back. If you would like a copy of the mp3 please shoot me an email.

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between an Hop and a Special and a Two Step in tempo or feel?

Re: Hackberry Hop

Nice job. You're changing key's on the B part? That becomes Triangle Club Special.

I really like that song, whatever anyone calls it.

Re: Hackberry Hop

Well good, now I know three new songs and I only had to learn the notes to one . I just played it the best I could listening to Paul's version. I'll have to try to play that B part in the same key once and see how that sounds.
