Ton Petite Bec est Doux

Octa Clark did it a lot better and it seems like it is derived from La Valse de Meches. Thoughts?

great job ! I like that bass like charlie was sayin. Like a clock.

yeah sounds like the same tune. Them old guys all had different names for them tunes.

Re: Ton Petite Bec est Doux

This song is so old that even Joe Falcon called it Vieux Airs when he recorded it in 1928. It predates the title Valse des Meches by at least 20 years.

Thanks for that bit of history on the song, Neal. I really love how Joe Falcon throws in those long notes in his songs.

Chris Miller and Bayou Roots do a great job with this song.
