I had to comment; in a previous (very non-Cajun)
band that I was part of, I wrote and performed a
song named "Tug Boat Captain".

We even had stage-hands who operated wooden cut-out
"waves" while we performed the song!

My boat was built at quality. It is fairly new. It was built in '96.

Greg, I highly recommend you get Big Nick's instructional DVD vol 1. It is very professionally done and easy to follow. I used it and it was money well spent. A good cajun tune to start with is the Wafus Two step. Big Nick also has a web site with free introductory lessons. There is a lot of good info here. Good luck and keep squeezin'.

Peer, that was an awesome rendition of Silent Night. I never thought of cajun style Christmas carols. I must try that one myself. Well done Sir and Merry Christmas to all.
