Congratulations to Ace for its fine reissue of two Swallow albums, plus 4 rare singles! It's called The Balfa Brothers Play Traditional Music and it combines their landmark 1965 and 1974 lps (the yellow album and the brown album), plus In My Old Wagon with Will Bolfa on vocal, Cowboy Waltz, Texas Two Step and Couer Criminelle (these last two have Nathan Abshire on accordion).

The sound is much improved over the Swallow compilation. The notes by John Broven and Ann Savoy add some new nuggets of information! The Swallow discography put together by the Yahoo Group Cajun Music Recordings a few years ago turned out to be helpful for this project!
