Re: F for Perrodin?

My absolutely favorite song to play (fiddle), maybe because it's so challenging. Really makes me have to think.

Watch here a young Travis Matte pull it off without a sweat!

Re: F for Perrodin?

I think I'll just pick up my F accordion. :-)

Re: F for Perrodin?

The Lost Bayou Ramblers do this on their Live at the Blue Moon CD. On "J'ai été au bal" they switch keys in the middle, and then switch back. sounds awesome.

Re: F for Perrodin?

Switching in Jetais au Bal, is not that hard, even I can do that one, but Perrodin..............

Re: F for Perrodin?

Yeah you right...

Good luck to all while practicing that.

Re: F for Perrodin?

I gave up before I started. Speaking of changing keys, Marc Savoy plays J'ai Passé Devant Ta Porte in 3 keys, are there any other songs that can be played in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd?

Switching keys between comes easier for me going between C and G, for some reason, it's hard for me finding transition notes between F and either G or C, I guess because important note missing (?). I suppose with a band they can add the transition sometimes.

Re: F for Perrodin?

Perrodin in F is rough! I'm surprised I can pull it off.

Re: F for Perrodin?

Beautifully executed! I didn't know this Eric guy. Very talented...
