what is the shape in these bellows?

I've seen this before, but at first thought it was caused by someone accidentally spilling water on their bellows. Any idea?

Re: what is the shape in these bellows?

Wayne Toups has an accordion with this shape too. It's a FALCON accordion and the image on the bellows is that of a bird of prey. And even though I've never gotten a close up look, I think is safe to say that it's a falcon rather than an eagle or hawk.

Re: what is the shape in these bellows?

link one has a guy selling a few Falcon button boxes...
your choice of one of the three available; or two or all three....

wish I hadn't acquired too many units recently,
as I'd really like to hear/play one or three....

however the wife would literally throw me out if another CA showed up on the door step about now...

Well I stand corrected. It appears that the picture shows a bald eagle on the bellows of that FALCON accordion.

Re: what is the shape in these bellows?

I have a cool story about those kinds of bellows. I saw one inside Mr. Randy's trash can and asked who's it was. Sure enough, it was Wayne's. It was really wore out. I almost kept it just to have.

Now those would have really made your room smell like a smokey bar room!
