Lyrics request for Beau Jocque's Nonc Adam

Does anyone have the lyrics to Nonc Adam?

Re: Lyrics request for Beau Jocque's Nonc Adam

Nonc Adam by Beau Jocque (short version)

Oh Nonc Adam,
S’acheté une grande banane.
Quand il l’a épluchée,
Elle a tombé dessus le plancher.
Oh mais Nonc Adam ( ??)
Etait si content.
Oh mais Nonc Adam.
C’est juste un gros .....

Oh Nonc Adam,
S’acheté une grande banane
Quand il l’a épluchée
Elle a tombé dessus le plancher
Oh mais Nonc Adam
Etait si excité
Oh mais Nonc Adam
Etait juste désappointé

Marc.

Say Marc,

It's really nice of you to post all these great
lyric transcriptions!

Thanks on behalf of all the Braves

Yes, Marc,Thank You!

Re: Lyrics request for Beau Jocque's Nonc Adam

I think Marc has the most comprehensive collection of cajun and zydeco music known to man.

Re: Lyrics request for Beau Jocque's Nonc Adam

That's an idea for a game. The winner would be the Brave who succeeds in asking for the lyrics to a song that Marc doesn't have in his collection. There must be one somewhere!

Re: Lyrics request for Beau Jocque's Nonc Adam

Hi all the braves.
Yes Christian, it’s possible, but I've a great collection (cajun, creole and zydeco), about 950 cd’s, vinyls, cassettes, videos.
Approximately 15 000 titles but often the same (jolie blonde, pine grove blues, allons à Lafayette,....). The transcription is my pleasure.
And if I’m the winner ?? Every time Fiddler2007 promises me a beer

Marc.

Thanks for the lyrics! I love this tune.

Re: Lyrics request for Beau Jocque's Nonc Adam

Marc,
Could you look at these lyrics again?

Another site (http://www.cajunlyrics.com/?lyrics=878) had different lyrics posted, most of which seems to be in error. However, it does mention Madame Adam in the lyrics which seem to make more sense in some respects.

Could you comment further and let me know if the lyrics should be revised?

Thanks,

Jason
