Re: OT: Has anyone figured out who the "Elektroman" post was from yet?

The post is about a page 'back" now ..

On my laptop running Firefox, it's on page 2 titled:

Waaay off topic - by Elecktro Man - Mar 22, 2012 9:12pm

Re: OT: Has anyone figured out who the "Elektroman" post was from yet?

Well .. OK .. since you axe.

That's my band; "Muscle Beach" circa 1979 or so.

Members were: Ryland Beach, Dennis Beach, Jeff Beach,
and Tom Beach AKA "Elecktroman".

That's me playing the Telecaster. I was Elecktroman.

That was my last "electric band". The band broke
up in about 1981 or so. I stopped playing completely
in order to finish college. I didn't start performing
again until I saw Buckwheat Zydeco sometime in 1992 or
so, at which time I took up piano accordion in order
to form a Zydeco band.

"Muscle Beach" was an interesting market study. The whole
point was to polarize the audience. As long as people
loved you or hated you, that was good. The goal was
to not have anyone walk-away thinking:
"Well .. they're OK".

If you can achieve just a 0.01% solid following and
multiply it by 7 billion people .. well, you get the
idea.

It was one of the few bands that I was in in which we
were "all on the same page" so to speak. It was a
very supportive writing environment, bouncing off
ideas on each other in order to build the product.

Of course, we played all of our own compositions ..

Now, if anyone asks me, I will deny having written
this message and say that my account got hacked!
