Re: Tab for Donnez Moi Mon Chapeau

If nobody can help you, you could get this collection of tablatures (with a CD). The song you want is in the book.

You can see what these tabs look like on his website:

your job to figure things out by ear

geno isn;t going to sit down and write out tabs for you

it;s going to be your job to figure things out by ear

99% of it isn;t written down

better get used to that, or only learn things out of the yellow book, with no frills or variations..

my only hint is, get the same key accordion, and something like 'the amazing slowdowner' and figure it out, it;s not that hard a song..

Re: your job to figure things out by ear

Yowza. Sounds complex. Thank;s for your post;s. Both of you;s. To me though tabs are still the way to go to learn a new song. It may seem a bit mechanical at first, but once the fingering is down pat, then I push and pull my soul into it and make it mine. And then I go eat. Then I go call Geno. Then we hit the bars. We tight.

Pete, I try to mail you something.
It didn't work.
