Hee Haw Breakdown

What is the one line in Nolan Cormier & The L.A. Aces Hee Haw Breakdown that sounds like "ca ciré"?

Re: Hee Haw Breakdown

He's saying "lachez-le", "let it go". Crazy mule I guess.

Re: Hee Haw Breakdown

I was told that in the old days, when the farmer and the mule got to the end of the row they were plowing, the farmer would tell the mule (Rock in this case to woah, slow down while the farmer redirected the old plow, then when lined up to plow that row would yell..to let it go(lache-les)!! Even the music mimics the activity if you close your eyes and visualize the activity of plowing the field.

Re: Hee Haw Breakdown

That's a terrific recording. You're right, Charlie, particularly if you ever handled horses or mules, you don't need a translation - it just sounds like exactly what's happening.

Years and years ago, my wife and I were listening to that song.

She thought he was saying: "F***IN' A"
