When to change songs

I've been trying to play for about 4 to 5 months now. I only know about 3 songs. I've been working on High Point Two Step (from Dirk Powell's video) for a while. I have it down pretty good with some, but not many, embelishments. I've also got the left hand down ok. My question is how many songs should I practice at once, or how long should I stick to one song?
