I think for beginners especially the DVDs made by our own Nickelodeon Big Boss Man make more sense; when i looked at the DP ones i kept thinking "wow", all that talk, just show it, some one should edit the DP material to almost the "music only" bones, because these DP DVDs are good, and especially the tunes played as a whole at the end of each chapter. As video and film editor you'd call this sort of work that of the "talking heads" type; I always wondered why one uses video as medium for looking at a talking head, film is meant for audio-visual communication, thus show it, don't talk about it. ....
