Beside all the tips, you also need a lot of patience.
It's not easy to play that thing and I know that it's sometimes frustrating that other people play it in a short time like they invented the accordion as well the music. For the rhythm it's maybe an idea that you think about dancing while you are playing. And don't try to play as fast as possible, but I don't know what you're doing while practising. Maybe a teacher is a solution for the things you want to learn.
