Port Arthur Blues on the accordion - Quick & 1st Trial

hey braves,

I love the port arthur blues and I just finger out this tune on the accordion (LINK #1) which is usually played with a fiddle. the only times I have seen people playing this tune on the accordion is on the joel sonnier's version (Unfortunally the youtube video has been deleted) and Brett Thibodeaux who made his own good version of the tune (LINK #2).

here I tried to imitated the joel sonnier 's version, It isn't perfect 'cause it's new and it's so hard to play with a wooden leg and fractured ribs...

I'll make an other attempt as soon as I 'll recovered.

That's it! That's the tune alright

If I may comment, as you rehearse the tune, try to
hold your left-hand buttons longer. As Ray Abshire
told me: "Squeeze all the juice out of the notes."

That will make it sound more Cajun-ee and less polka-ee.

Great start!

There's an awesome version on the CD from Wade Fruge with Marc Savoy on the accordion.
