I want to make sure I'm going at this right. My usual ways of finding the key for a song don't seem to be working.

Here's what I think he's doing. He's on a A box, starting with a 5/9' pull, after which I can pretty much play it in what seems to be second position. Then I hit a blend at the end of the second phrase that is hard to match, but I think it's a roll from the 5' to 6/7'.

Am I headed in the right direction, or painting myself into a corner.
