Accordion choice

I feel I need to purchase a good ole Louisiana-made Cajun accordion. Now what? Savoy/Acadian? Martin? Reed? Acadiana? Some wonderful lesser-known beauty? This is not a simple decision (nor should it be), and I live many a mile from the Louisiana border. I definitely want something I can truly depend on; I want gorgeous sound and first-class playability; great customer service and problem-solving, as needed; beautiful woods and materials with superb components and craftsmanship; and, of course, good value for what I purchase and availability without having to wait too long (the idea is to have an accordion to practice and enjoy, after all). What is your opinion, mes amis? Many thanks.
