As Dwight would say, it miter might not make a difference.

But all seriousness aside, I agree - mitered corners are a total non-issue. Some of my accordions have them, some do not. It has no impact on the sound and has no effect on how sturdy they are.

On my Master Bb, I didn't even know it had mitered corners for a long time. It is hard to tell because it is painted black. You have to look REAL hard to detect it.
