It'll get you a lot further in Cajun music. Watch documentaries if you're curious about how sounds manifest themselves in the physical form. Watch Cajun visits and blues des balfas by Yasha Aginsky. Both available on folkstreams.net for free streaming. Mostly fiddlers on those
