Music for the Cajun Accordion

If anyone is interested I am publishing my first volume of music for the cajun accordion. The book comprises ten two steps in musical notation for an accordion tuned to the key of 'C' and provides a correlation between the notes and the buttons to facilitate the creation of a tabulature. For details/questions/orders please email me at tensteptwostep@yahoo.com

Re: Music for the Cajun Accordion

Since barely anyone learns cajun accordion from sheet music, you might have a more marketable product if you went the extra step and included tablature for your 10 songs. There's already two thick books out with cajun songs in them, with sheet music.

Re: Music for the Cajun Accordion

But not for the accordion. Dwight.

Re: Music for the Cajun Accordion

I agree with Dwight instead of facilitating the creation of tabs why not just present the tabs. Most on this board dont agree with playing using tabs but a few of us do. I would be interested if tabs were part of the deal instead of me having to do the work.

Re: Music for the Cajun Accordion

You're right that the two books out are not focused on accordion. The sheet music for Ann Savoy's book seems to be for the vocals. The yellow book is from a fiddlers perspective.

Larry Miller did put out a book with several songs and tablature. Can't remember if it had sheet music though.
