If the author thinks the Lost Bayou Ramblers play some kind of new Cajun rock music, he probably never heard Joe Falcon recorded live at the Triangle Club in 1963, or any of Austin Pitre's hits. Joe Falcon, that's the sound the Lost Bayou Ramblers patterned themselves after. And when Louis plays Allons à Lafayette, he's paying tribute to Lionel Leleux's reading of that tune. I know 'cause he told me so.
