I get feedback on vocals, and my Bon Tee box.

I have a Shure Beta Green 2.0 hypercardioid mike. I think that helps a little. The monitor was at the base of the boom mike stand, right at my feet, pointing up at me.

I've thought of putting the monitor directly behind the mike pointing at me, but it would impeded audience view.

Why put the monitor off to the side for the hyper?
