Re: Excalibur Cajun style accordions from Castelfidardo?

Well, the reeds are made, and probably installed in Italy, (Castelfidardo is the traditional capital of accordion making in Italy)but given the price of these boxes, you may be right about the country of origin.

But how do they sound?

First off, not "probably the best" - "hands-down, unquestionably the best" for Cajun music. Not to put too fine a point on it, but that's the way it is.

Secondly, are you SURE those are made in Italy? I'm betting China . . . Ask Big Nick, I bet that Wisconsinite will know . . .
