I'm planning a little trip to France about the same time. hope to see you there!!

Re: Saulieu anyone?

You wouldn't regret it Peer. Trouble is, like Balfa Camp, once is not enough and you keep geting drawn back.

Re: Saulieu anyone?

Hope to meet y'all over there. I go there with a musical friend who is not into Cajun music, so I might not stay all the time.
Nout instructed me to go to the Café Parisien around 2.00 p.m. , for that seems to be the gathering place.
It'll be easy enough to find me: when you hear a strange scratching sound somewhere, well, that's me.
(I plan to take my old scrapefiddle along, and a little piano accordion - my standard instrument).
If you hear something like ploink, ploink as well, that's my friend Hendrik with his tenor banjo.
A bientôt mes amis!!

Re: Saulieu anyone?

Je serai à Saulieu comme tous les ans depuis 16 ans !! A bientôt les amis.

Marc.

Re: Saulieu anyone?

Re: Saulieu anyone?

We`ll be there too but, please don`t tell anyone, we`d like to keep a low profile.

Re: Saulieu anyone?

yep lets go to saulieu lookin forward for the jam session gonna be a lot of fun....

Re: Saulieu anyone?

yeah! maybe I'll bring my CA after all! But it's in C. Which key are those sessions mainly in? D and A?

Re: Saulieu anyone?

English, Dutch and Germans usually bring C boxes. French tend to favor D.

Re: Saulieu anyone?

Thanks BJ! See you there.
