Re: lyrics and translation for Te Monde

Hi Leslie -

We learned this version:

Version: Les Amis Creole

Oh, ‘tit monde,
Mon j’connais ça m’fait du mal, ‘tit monde.
Tu m’as fait brailler, bébé,
Ta maman et ton papa étaient tout contre moi, ‘tit monde.

Oh, t’as dit à tes parents,
Ouais, t’as dit à tout le monde toi t’as été cochonnée, bébé.
Tu peux dire à tes parents,
Tu peux dire à tout le monde tu m’as canaillé, bébé.

Tu m’as fait brailler, bébé,
Ta maman et ton papa étaient tout contre moi, ‘tit monde.

I would also like to see a translation.

Bruce (your classmate)

Re: lyrics and translation for Te Monde

Leslie, you may want to be more specific, that title applies to at least 3 completely different songs.

Re: lyrics and translation for Te Monde

Thanks all. Ed Poullard taught this at Augusta and it is his version (Les Amis Creole) that I needed.
