99 Year Waltz

I was listening to Bois Sec Ardion version of the 99 Year Waltz....and I notice he was playing a B part to this song, which I never notice before. Does anyone else know of any other versions of this song playing a B part? Thanks Braves.

Re: 99 Year Waltz

Amede Ardoin does it in his version of the 99 year (I forget what he calls it).

And the Poullards do it on their Poullard, Poullard, & Garnier album.

And Courtbouillion does it on their album.

Re: 99 Year Waltz

Dewey also does a B part, different than Amede or Bois Sec's B part, on one of the New York recordings.

Re: 99 Year Waltz

We did that one for Jamey's Tune of the Month project.
My trial had a second part too. Website #2.
I don't even remember where I got that from.

Re: 99 Year Waltz

I would say the turn Courtbouillion does is more of a variation. Same chord changes and everything.
