Fiddle Question

Was wondering if it is easier to learn to play a fiddle with the fiddle in the right hand and bow in the left for someone that plays cajun accordion? Already using right hand for melody if that matters.and/or does it make a difference? I was thinkinwg of buying a fiddle and was thinking of bowing ith the left hand. Any comments... or suggestions?

Re: Fiddle Question

I wouldn't recommend it. Both hands, arms, and fingers have complex jobs to do...there wouldn't be an advantage...even most lefties play a regular violin--a left handed violin is more rare than a left handed guitar or accordion.

Re: Fiddle Question

Thanks Chris, just thought I would ask... thought that might be the case.
Anyone got a nice fiddle for sale?
