I'm glad you are pleased with the materials .. thanks
for the kinds words!
And now, I will reveal all my trade secrets.
When I make my videos, I actually use four capture
devices, three for video and one for audio:
Long Shot - Sony HDR-HC5 (in standard def mode)
Left camera close shot - Sony dcr-trv250/350
Right camera close shot - Sony dcr-trv250/350
Audio - H2 Zoom (overhead)
(I may have used just two cameras for Vol-3, but I
did much more left/right hand 3-camera stuff on Vol-2).
I pull all four tracks into Adobe Premiere Elements.
Then, I sync up the tracks, throw away the camera's
audio, and edit shots for left/right hand, close-ups
etc.
In order to create background/accompaniment audio, I
use Cakewalk Sonar and multi-track myself.
I mix this audio down to a single track that I
play-back while performing along with it.
(This 2-nd audio track gets pulled into Elements as well.)
So, it becomes a lot of post-production work, but
it eliminates the need for camera operators and
live video switching etc.
Wow brother, that's impressive! I could never seem to get that good of audio from my H2 and a Cajun box. Imma try overhead...
Got an H4 and have yet to test it
I see you got a new Acadian... At first I thought it was your original walnut, but the improved sound of the box was the first giveaway... second was the taller buttons, then the crimped metal corners. Congrats, she's a beaut!
