Tuning alteration...

Hi Mr. Pettijohn,

I am writing to you with my respect for your playing abilities and technical knowledge with regard to cajun accordion. I have enjoyed your YouTube presentations immensely, and they have been a major influence to me.

My friend gifted me with an old Hohner 10 button single- row, a year ago. He said that it was from the 20's. I began to try to learn it, based on several Cajun You-Tube videos. I got pretty good, and then I got Big Nick's lessons, which were an immense help...thanks Big Nick!
I'm just wondering if you would recommend a wet tuning, or if you could do that for me if I sent my box to you?

Sincerely,

Kerry

Re: Tuning alteration...

Hey Kerry, can u send me an email to jimpettijohn@comcast.net ?

Re: Tuning alteration...

Thanks for your reply, Jim,

I attempted to contact you with your email link, but my confuser, I mean computer, shot me down suggesting a I change my browser, and wouldn't link me even if I decided not to upgrade.

Maybe there's another way. I do admire your expertise and musicianship. I've enjoyed your videos from my early days of accordion. I play numerous instruments myself...guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, etc. etc. Hopefully we'll be able to meet on common ground to discuss my accordion sometime...internet permitting.

Kerry
