Re: My Debut

Good effort Ned and what a beautiful accordion.

Re: My Debut

GREAT job, Ned! But what's up with your thumb? Is it the camera, just me, or is your thumb bent at an impossible angle?!

How long have you been playing? However long it's been, looks live you have not been wasting that time! Great first video!

Now, how do YOU think you did? Surely a gifted a writer as you has a little something to say on the first recording experience . . .

Salut!

Re: My Debut

Jamey,

Double jointed thumb. Problematic.
18 months.
Gimme a C. That's not my best, but it's the hardest song I've attempted.

Had lesson from Steve Riley today, requiring new direction. I'm pretty excited about his observations and recommendations.

(I have tried to post this 3 times and it doesn't make the trip.)

Re: My Debut

Not bad, at all, Ned. A part sounds really good. Spend more time on that B part, and work on getting the left hand and right hand to work together.

Re: My Debut

Thanks, Ganey. I value your advice. You noticed something I wasn't aware of.

P.s. I really like that FB post from RVDC-the one with all the modulations. Cool!
