Maybe a dumb question but when you put your accordion(s) down after playing do you clasp the bellows closed or leave them "open?" Is it important one way or the other? Sometimes, if I'm putting it down for a minute or so I'll just set it down without locking the bellows.

Just wondering what the general wisdom is.

I attach one strap then gently put it down. If I am not going to use it for a while then I will attach both straps.

I wouldn't know. I don't ever put my accordion down.

When I am done I just lay it down with bellows closed never straped
