A Request For Big Nick

Hey BN,

For many of us learning up with the accordion, your lessons were staples (and remain so for me).

I'm sure that there are a number of us who may not have access to either fiddle or guitar.

How about a DVD of just guitar tracks? I know I'd buy it right away. You could probably hit most all of the "staples" and man.. it would be great to have something to play along with.

What do you think?

JahnA,

What did you have in mind? Just guitar accompaniment/practice tracks?

Re: A Request For Big Nick

I was thinking in terms of practice tracks that beginning to mid-range accordion players could just play along with. A thing that would give a foundation for dropping in and out of the song and developing timing.

I'm getting a beginning repetoir of lyrics now, and having a guitar to continue with the rhythm while I do what passes for singing between the accordion parts would be great.

I've just had absolutely no luck finding anyone to play along here in Eugene. Time to get together with folks is tough also.
