Re: Looking for 3 stop Hohner from the 20's in 'A' (steel reeds only!)

The E Bay box is in the key of "D"

Re: Looking for 3 stop Hohner from the 20's in 'A' (steel reeds only!)

Hey Bohemian, they are individual steel reeds on zinc plates. It's high octave A (M-L-M)

Re: Looking for 3 stop Hohner from the 20's in 'A' (steel reeds only!)

All of mine are mounted on individual plates..
but there may be another source..

I am going to contact a friend in Florida who has quite a bit of experience with old Hohners and may have some bits... no guarantee but I'll check and pass on the info.

Re: Looking for 3 stop Hohner from the 20's in 'A' (steel reeds only!)

Thanks man. If you are interested in selling one in high A, I'm all for it. Or if your contact does, I'm good with that too.
I'd hate to see this project go to waste, spent a good long time on it

thanks

Re: Looking for 3 stop Hohner from the 20's in 'A' (steel reeds only!)

I sent my friend an e-mail he may be travelling..
I'll follow up if I don't hear from him in a few days.
