They are causing Google Chrome to not let me view the site because it says www.maison-t-bayou.com is a malware distributor. If you click further, it says it's probably not a problem, but now it won't let me through at all. Before, I was able to tell it to proceed anyway, but now it just keeps going back to the warning message.

If it's the little icon at the top of the page, it just takes up space anyway. I know it's there for historical purposes, but, this is getting tedious to switch browsers to just view one website.

You can disable that feature in Chrome. I am running Chrome on four different computers, including a Mac, and couldn't figure out why one of them wouldn't come to this site.

In the settings, go to advanced settings, privacy. It is the third or fourth tab down.

Maybe someone can explain what the site is about first: It has been reported as a site that probably installs malware stuff illegally on your computer, and in these days of information- and tracking info gathering practices a bit more than just a cookie or two. That stuff also could harm your windows system and defense against potential hackers if your IP details etc are forwarded in to the unknown abyss of internet. If the site is OK that's still no reason why they won't behave and adapt to what's generally seen as a decent internet behavior. - Nout
