Just want to let you all know that Joel's accordion has been returned to him. Turns out his ex had set aside several things she knew were important, and gave it back to him a couple of days ago in Canada. Thank you all for all your advice on how to look for it. I did contact a lot of the places suggested and maybe word just got back to her that we were looking. Apparently her parents didn't know it had been set aside for safekeeping.

Great to hear that Sarah! I saw Joel posted a picture of it on facebook. I have a friend who also has an old sunburst Acadian that he inherited from his father Chester Cormier. I love when I get the chance to play it.
