There's a band (playing mostly in New Orleans) called Cajungrass. Its founder and leader is Brandon Moreau, a great Cajun fiddler, superb vocalist, and all-around great young man. Google them.

Man, that dobro ROCKED! Would've loved to have heard the keyboard accordion try his hand at it; I'm pretty sure he wasn't in that heady company just because of his looks . . .

Bluegrass ruined old timey music by making it too fast to dance to.
But it paved the way for a bunch of primadonnas to show off their
