Let Me Play This for You. (CD released on Tompkins Square)

http://www.tompkinssquare.com/let-me-play-this.html

All the recordings by Percy Babineaux & Bixy Guidry, 13 of 16 recordings by Angelas LeJeune, and two rare ones by Blind Uncle Gaspard and Delma Lachney.

The Angelas LeJeune ones show that he was the first to record quite a few songs that have become standards in the repertoire.

Angelas's tunes

First to record the melody of Chere Tout Toute and Kaplan Waltz (with different lyrics)

First to record Bayou Pom Pom, Perrodin Two Step, Crowley Two Step (One Step a Cain), Chere Alice (Valse a Titdom Hanks), Catch My Hat (Petit T'es Canaille), Cherokee Waltz (Valse de Texas), Church Point Breakdown (Le Petit One Step), Valse de Cajun (Valse de la Louisiane).
