Hello Marc or any francophone, I need some lyrics help on the Basile Waltz
as played and sung by Harry Choates. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yz-kUMnE1Y
I have always played this in Bois Sec's style and used his lyrics.
He called it the Tit Maurice Waltz.
I would like to use Harry's lyrics.
Once again Marc, merci beaucoup! I'm familiar with most of the
words and their contractions, should be easy to learn.
What does the word "balader" mean?
I'm not absolutely certain about "balader", but it's what I understand !!
Maybe on the forum somebody understands something else ??
Balader = to trail around
I hear this (just a few tiny différences). And of course I can't guarantee that I'm not hallucinating, given the recording :
